I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Hawaii and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Hawaii with over 17 years experience of experience providing therapeutic services. I focus on high-risk self-harm, LGBTQ+, sexuality, substance use and traunma. I provide psychotherapy in person in Hawaii and via telehealth in Hawaii and California to adult individuals and couples through a lens of harm reduction while using solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, and ego psychology. As a sex-positive gay man, I understand that emotional distress and self-destructive behavior are often the result of external factors like boundary violations, feeling misunderstood, or oppression.
